Step into the world of product design with this exclusive AIDEA Product Design Micro-Workshop — a specially adapted programme brought forward and simplified for Happinest students.

This is not a regular workshop. The programme has been launched and conducted exclusively in selected secondary schools and has now been thoughtfully redesigned to give younger students a first-hand experience of product design, creative thinking and AI-assisted ideation.

Students will be introduced to the same kind of design thinking process and cutting-edge digital tools used by NUS design students and professionals, in a way that is accessible, engaging and age-appropriate.

This Micro-Workshop is limited to a maximum of 10 students, ensuring that every participant receives close guidance and full hands-on involvement throughout the process. With a smaller group size, students will not simply watch a demonstration. They will actively brainstorm, experiment, test, refine and present their own ideas.

Through physical activities, guided creative exercises and the use of Hypersketch app, students will discover how designers think, how ideas are developed step by step and how AI can be used as a creative partner to expand possibilities, refine concepts and support the design process meaningfully.
