Chinese Idioms Enrichment Workshop

In collaboration with Yuquan Language School, we will be bringing back the "Chinese Idioms Enrichment Workshop" for students to attend during school holidays. 

Have you noticed that your child's interest in learning Chinese is limited to what's in their textbooks? When it comes to Chinese knowledge beyond the textbook, they struggle and learning Chinese feels dull. Our Chinese Idioms Enrichment Workshop will bring about a change to their learning.

Our unique workshop is designed to allow children to learn idioms, characters, words, sentences, and oral expression through catchy idiom verses. This helps to achieve the goal of independent reading. It's not just a language learning experience but a fun-filled exploration of the Chinese Culture!

Workshop Highlights:

Fun Learning: Engaging idiom literacy activities ignite children's curiosity and interest in Chinese.

Details of the workshop:

1. This is a 5 day workshop happening during the Year-End Holidays from Monday, 9th December to Friday, 13th December 2024.
2. The workshop will be conducted from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. during the half-day session at Happinest.
3. Students attending this workshop will not attend the usual enrichment lesson from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
4. Lunch will be consumed from 1.30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
5. The workshop will be conducted in small group sizes of less than 10.
6. Each first-time student will receive a booklet containing 200 Chinese idioms to take home. Return students should bring back their previous Chinese idiom book.
7. A material fee (U.P. $100) is already included in the listed price.
8. For students not attending the full day programme, please pick your child up by 2 p.m.
9. Students have the flexibility of attending 3 days or 4 days or the full 5 days.
10. If you are interested but can only commit to 1 or 2 days, please inform us directly for a pro-rated fees. However, we strongly encourage you to let your child participate for all 5 days or join us in the next session that we will likely conduct during the Year- End Holiday programme. In this way, your child can fully enjoy the benefits of this fun and educational workshop!
