Little Bento Artist introduces the children to the Japanese culture of bento-making, a tradition that began in Japan centuries ago. Where Bento boxes were first developed as convenient packed meals. The kids will discover how food can be transformed into cute, colourful and creative edible art through the Japanese style of character bento, known as “Kyaraben”.

Through this workshop, the little bento artists will explore a variety of ingredients to shape, arrange and decorate the food. Using their imaginations they can create adorable designs of their favourite characters. With this hands-on exploration, they will experiment with different food textures, colours and shapes to bring their ideas to life. With simple food presentation techniques, they will discover how small details can transform an ordinary meal into an eye-catching creation.

This encourages the kids creativity, self expression and the appreciation of Japanese food culture, allowing each child to proudly showcase their very own bento masterpiece.
