The Culture Trailblazers (Monday, 28 December 2026)

Get ready to step into the vibrant streets of Joo Chiat, where colourful shophouses, hidden cultural gems and fascinating stories await! It’s time for our little Culture Blazers to put on their explorer hats and uncover the rich heritage that makes this neighbourhood so special!

From the fascinating traditions of the Eurasian and Malay communities to the history behind iconic landmarks, our young explorers will discover how food, architecture, customs and everyday life have shaped Singapore’s multicultural identity. But this isn’t just a walk down memory lane! Along the way, they’ll take on exciting station challenges, play interactive games and put their observation and teamwork skills to the test as they explore Joo Chiat from a whole new perspective.

The adventure doesn’t end at the finish line! Our little Culture Blazers will bring their discoveries together to create their very own infographic, showcasing the interesting facts and cultural gems they’ve uncovered along the way. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to learn beyond the classroom, get hands-on with Singapore’s heritage and turn a neighbourhood adventure into something they can proudly share!

(Rain or shine, the adventure continues! Should the weather turn rainy, the fun will move indoors, where exciting cultural activities and discoveries await.)
