The Wizarding World of Wonders Workshop (Tue to Wed, 8 & 9 December 2026)

Day 1: The Frozen Potions Lab

The adventure begins when a mysterious mishap strikes Professor Frostwick’s Potions Laboratory! The magical potions have lost their powers, and our young witches and wizards must complete five exciting science challenges to restore the magic. Watch flowers freeze, balloons shrink and mysterious fog appear as they discover how liquid nitrogen and extreme temperatures can transform everyday materials. To complete their first day at Happinest School of Witchcraft & Wizardry, they will put their newfound knowledge to delicious use by creating their very own Butterbeer-inspired vanilla ice cream using the fascinating science of liquid nitrogen!

 

Day 2: The Enchanted World of Wonders

With the first magical mystery solved, the adventure continues as our young witches and wizards delve deeper into the secrets of the wizarding world! They will brew their very own magical drink, using pH indicators to uncover the secrets behind mesmerising colour-changing potions. Next, each young wizard will receive and create their very own magical wand before learning the secret spell to make it light up using a simple electrical circuit. The enchantment continues as they discover how seemingly impossible magical feats can be explained through scientific principles.

 

Across Two Days

From restoring the powers of Professor Frostwick’s potions on Day 1 to creating enchanted objects and uncovering magical mysteries on Day 2, children will embark on a two-day journey where imagination meets scientific discovery. They will learn to think like scientists, create like inventors and discover that the most extraordinary magic can be found in science itself!
