Trash to Treasure (Monday, 30 November 2026)

Who says rubbish belongs in the bin? Sometimes, the most unexpected treasures are hiding in the things we throw away! Get ready to give everyday recyclables a creative makeover in this fun-filled upcycling adventure.

From quirky yarn monster pencil holders to colourful mosaic bookmarks and eye-catching bottle cap coasters, children will discover just how much potential lies in ordinary household items. With an assortment of recycled materials, colours, textures and embellishments at their fingertips, they'll get to turn discarded odds and ends into something wonderfully unexpected!

Each creation comes with its own personality. Will it be a silly monster ready to guard their stationery, a one-of-a-kind bookmark to brighten up their reading adventures or a vibrant coaster worthy of a place at home? There's plenty of room to experiment, mix and match, and let their imagination take the lead.

Along the way, children will discover how a little creativity can give old materials a new lease of life. They'll also explore the value of reusing everyday items and see how small creative choices can make a difference to the world around them.
