In this creative STEM workshop, children will design and build their very own miniature light-up study corner inspired by a cosy interior space. Using miniature elements such as books, shelves, tables, chairs and decorative details, they will explore how creativity and functionality can come together in one meaningful project.

As part of the experience, children will explore simple circuit building using a child-friendly circuit kit. They will discover how electricity flows through a complete circuit and learn about the role of the battery pack, wires and the positive (+) and negative (-) ends needed to power the light successfully.

Through testing and adjusting their circuits, children will develop problem-solving, logical thinking and observation skills while gaining hands-on exposure to basic STEM concepts in science, technology and engineering. The design component also encourages thoughtful planning, placement and spatial awareness as they bring their miniature room to life.

By the end of the session, each child will bring home a personalised light-up study corner that reflects both creativity and hands-on STEM discovery.
