It was supposed to be a real tiramisu birthday cake. Soft sponge layers, creamy filling and a dusting of cocoa on top. But something strange happens. The moment it is touched, it stretches!

In this hands on workshop, children recreate the mysterious birthday tiramisu that started it all. They will learn how to model realistic cake details using simple sculpting techniques, shaping sponge textures, layering “cream” and refining small finishing touches to make their creation look convincingly real.

Then comes the twist. Instead of baking, they transform their cake using slime finishing techniques. By adjusting texture, layering and presentation, children discover how a creation can look exactly like dessert but feel completely different.

Throughout the session, they strengthen fine motor control, observation skills and creative thinking as they experiment with realistic details and sensory textures. They learn how small design choices make a big visual impact.

Each child will receive a takeaway mixing box to neatly store their components and bring home a completed tiramisu slime tub that looks ready for a birthday celebration. Until someone gives it a poke.
